Naunee is a regular college student just trying to navigate school, her mother, a job and, oh yeah, dead people. Naunee's ability to allow a spirit to "borrow" a person has been part of her life since she was five. Being a Source has become commonplace. That is until she gets her first breach.

Nathan wasn't supposed to die. Being brought down while fighting a fire didn't leave him another choice. Naunee is his only way to find and finish his purpose. But how is he supposed to finish a purpose that should take him a lifetime in the time that Naunee can give him?
